building htpc from my old parts
#1
hi guys, i'm looking to build HTPC for the lowest budget, i just upgraded my pc so i have some left overs
C2D e6750 cpu
4gb ram ddr2
gigabyte p35 ATX mobo
decent PSU

so i'm missing the hdmi output for audio+video, i cannot find any store near me that got old mATX mobo that supports LGA775 and DDR2 and sports integrated graphics, so i think my next option is to buy a video card with hdmi output.

can anyone recommend a cheap pcie 16x video card that will support 1080p playback?
also a recommendation for ATX htcp case will be great as well.

thanks!

Videocard:
Nvidia 210 or 610(passive and low-profile versions available)
Case:
Silverstone GD07
Fractal design node 605(does not support optical drive with anything bigger than mATX)

what about the hd 6450? is it on the same level or the 610 is better?
which one will be better supported by openelec/ubuntu?
