I've read the xbmc fire tv wiki and are still a little confused. My Three big problems with xbmc on fire tv is 1. starting xbmc from the fire tv menu ( difficult for non tech users). 2. Accidentally hitting the home button (again something a non tech user will do) 3. Restarting xbmc after a crash for a novice

Which method is best for dealing with these issues? Firedtv? Llama Semi bypass or full bypass?

if your Fire TV is rooted or can be rooted then by far the easiest for the average joe user would be 4.4 in the wiki http://kodi.wiki/view/Amazon_Fire_TV

This will start xbmc on launch and stay/go back to xbmc when hitting home button

if you need to reboot you can hold down the select (big central button) and the play/pause

depending on skin you use (i love Titan Mediabrowser) you can easily set a menu/tile/shortcut to go back to Amazon Fire menu from within xbmc...then pressing the home button will send you back to xbmc.
