Wrong Channel

First, thanks for all the hard work put into this!

I am having a bit of trouble with channel changes. I use Directv ... have a channel 13, but when selected it always changes to 924

13 is a local channel for my area. In the Directv guide, channel 13 shows on 13 and 924, but I don't have access to 924.

Hope I explained it ok. I have done a total reinstall, reset Windows MC, edited MC and deselected 924.

I sometimes feel I am over looking something.

if anything else is needed, let me know.

Thanks

That's weird. Is channel 924 supposed to be the same content as 13? I think if you have wmc do a channel scan it will find that you don't get channel 924 and remove it as a source. Or in wmc go to settings>tv>guide>'edit channels'. Then select channel 13 and choose 'edit listings' and remove 924 if its there.

I don't get that channel, BUT it is named exactly the same as 13.
I've rescanned, edited the channels, etc.. I'm baffled by it.
but I will check those settings again.
oh and WMC changes to channel 13 just fine.

After you recheck, post the swmc log after it (incorrectly) tries to tune to 13.

Here you go. I also went in and deleted the databases, let WMC rescan and checked all the settings again.
WMC changes the channel to 13 fine, its only Kodi that changes it to 924

The big game happens to be on this channel Smile

the log shows:

2014/10/24 18:54:49.188 StreamProc> live-tv started
2014/10/24 18:54:49.236 SetChannel> Channel: 13 : WHBQ - 13375BAF = { (13 : WHBQ - 5923) + [ 924 : WHBQ - 5DDD, 13 : WHBQ - 133758A8, 924 : WHBQ - 13376251, 13 : WHBQ - 133764C6] }

so wmc is configured so that channel 13 can be tuned using 13 or 924. Are you sure you tried doing what I described in an earlier post:
wmc go to settings>tv>guide>'edit channels'. Then select channel 13 and choose 'edit listings' and remove 924 if its there?

This. I had a similar problem with an ABC OTA signal that comes in from it's broadcast location as well as a separate repeater. For some reason, both of those tuner channels were in the "Edit Channels section" of my ABC even though I was only able to pull in the repeater station. Once I unchecked/removed the channel I didn't receive just as Krusty mentions above, all worked perfectly. I did this a few months ago, but those steps look correct.

Got it to work right.
Looking at the source, it listed 3 sources for channel 13, clicking on split the sources and now it works fine.

Thanks for everything.
