I finally got around to upgrading from Frodo to 13.2 Gotham, but wish I hadn't , because nothing works. Everything worked perfects before the upgrade.

-the video plays very choppy, both through the network and locally. The pause button is flashing while this is happening
-no sound in videos or in the interface
-can't exit, it crashes every time.

Using the Windows version.
Would using version 14 beta solve any of this?

Any help would be appreciated.

Im actually having much the same problem, I managed to mitigate it a bit with series using the advanced settings XML file, so now it only stalls for like a second maybe 2 or 3 times during a 40min epp. Moment I put on a movie of 720p or higher I am looking at pauses of up to 15 seconds every 5 min or less. I makes movies completely unmatchable

Migrate further up to Kodi Beta, you might as well stabilize on the latest.

Thanks for the quick replies everyone.
It's weird, all the those problems aren't occurring this morning. Maybe I just needed a reboot.
The sounds works, the video plays, and it didn't crash on exit.
The pause button is still flashing, but it's not affecting playback. I only played a video for a few seconds, but that's more than I got last night.
If anything pops up again, I'll include the log file.

Just make sure it's a proper debug log, posted to a pastebin linked back to this thread while it's acting up.
