What's the best setup for a harmony remote?
#1
I have a helix install and have a win mce it receiver and remote today. I have tried custom regis to remap the remote but have today bought a harmony touch remote.

Should I just set this up as a mce remote or is there a different preferred settings profile for a harmony remote to get the best from this device?

Thanks

Bob

Onkyo TX-NR626 Receiver
LG 55" LCD

I always set up a MCE Remote and a MCE Keyboard as devices and then pick and choose the combination that work best for me.
Personally I wouldn't recommend using the number buttons as a mouse as the number buttons are very handy in XBMC for accessing anywhere in a playing video file and browsing the library by letter.

I have a back up wireless keyboard/mouse for the rare times I need a mouse.
