Hello Everyone,
I am a noob on XBMC. Just got it in my laptop. Need the following solution as given below.

We have a small Guest House where we want to serve Live TV (Dish cable) & HD Movies to our guest from a single server. Someone told me to look into XBMC. So I came here.

Please let me know whether it's possible with XBMC or not. If yes then how or if NO then where should I look.

you will need:

* a server with a dvb-card and a backend (e.g. tvheadend, dvbviewer,...).
* network-connection between server and client (100Mbit/s)
* Client with XBMC and live-tv addon (tvheadend, dvbviewer,...
