Hello again.

I'm facing a new problem this time. I installed Gotham 13.2 and set the sound to WASAPI. However, recently i noticed that the sound breaks (i don't know of i'm using the correct word) when the volume is high, for example in explosions in a movie, or similar high volume effects. It sounds like a broken speaker, only the speakers are fine. With other players there is no problem at all. Is it a sound setting issue? I'm watching movies through a projector and HDMI but the sound comes from the 5.1 logitech speakers and a creative sound card.

Amplifier clipping perhaps, in the OSD lower the sound volume level slightly. I've got a self powered video sound bar that does this, but my 5.1 A/V receiver does not.

Thank you. I solved the problem by changing the Audio setting to Directsound Speakers.
