I have XBMC/Kodi installed on Windows 8.1 32bit machine (DN2820FYKH intel NUC box).
XBMC machine connected to Pioneer receiver via HDMI.
When using XBMC 13.2 (Gotham), it works flawlessly both in Directsound and Wasapi modes.
However since moving to any Helix version (from alpha to RC1), I can only play movies through wasapi (no directsound) and can not hear any sound when playing music mp3 files. I understand this is something to do with how Kodi interacts with Intel win drivers, however no changes in Sound settings fix this.
When setting to Directsound I'm not getting any sound at all (both music and video).
I have downgraded to Gotham and it works fine again.
Any help?
