Hi Guys,

I'm using an external Samsung Optical drive. It's connected via USB. But it's not detected by XMBC. I've tried it on two different computers, but no go. Any ideas how I can make it work? Thanks!

Check and make sure you can 'see' the drive from your O/S and it lists. There is no auto-detect in Kodi, so you'll have to go to sources and use the browse function at which point your drive should be listed.

Actually, it should detect optical drives if there is a disc inside. Just make sure it's connected before starting XBMC/Kodi.
