Bookmark sort order...

Lightbulb
It would be nice (visually and funtionally) to be able to define the sort order of bookmarks... and have a 'user defined' in the view settings...

what I am envisioning is something to the effect of

<bookmark>
<name></name>
<path></path>
<thumbnail></thumbnail>
<sort>1</sort>
<lockmode></lockmode>
<lockcode></lockcode>
</bookmark>
<bookmark>
<name></name>
<path></path>
<thumbnail></thumbnail>
<sort>3</sort>
<lockmode></lockmode>
<lockcode></lockcode>
</bookmark>
<bookmark>
<name></name>
<path></path>
<thumbnail></thumbnail>
<sort>2</sort>
<lockmode></lockmode>
<lockcode></lockcode>
</bookmark>

Nod ... so that we could control the order in whish the bookmarks appear in each of the views.

Any thoughts?

IMO a better solution is just to list them in the order they appear. Why add a tag when it's not needed?

Ya it does make sense! You mean the order they appear in sources.xml right??

So is that possible? I guess it would still require a "user defined" option in the view setting...

The reason I would like to see this is because I have alot of different sources for my videos and music, and they sort alphabetically, which is not the most logical for me, and I really don't want to have to number them or something lame like that...

I just name them with a number at the front Smile

i got over it. been doing that for a very long time. but they should just be in the order specified in the sources.xml file, and not in alpha order.
