I think it would look better if the names are aligned and not on top/below the currently selected avatar

I can understand it's not to everyone's taste.. but it was done on purpose, so it's not broken, per se.. I'll think about it.

That's just a mistake. Will fix.

No problem. By the way, since you seem to be poking around with Metropolis, I'm looking for beta testers for 3.0.3 over here Smile

I recently discovered this skin and enjoy its lay out.

I see that this skin does not support a mouse. I have always enjoyed skipping ahead or trying to get to a certain point while playing content. Is there a way that this is still done in this skin?

Thanks for your work.

Metropolis does not currently support the mouse, sorry.

Howdy Jingai great skin i'm using the custom menu's on my home page and ive set my folder (Anime) as a Submenu but when I click it on the home screen it takes me to videos page (as in if you clicked on the Videos Link on the home page (Not within the Anime Folder))

Is this normal? or some kind of bug.

By "Folder", I assume you mean a Playlist or Favourite. Which of those are you using?

Hello! I'm having the same (or similar, at least) problem as RavenReactor above: I have favorited two separate video sources and added them as custom shortcuts on the home screen. When I select either, I am taken to the main 'videos' screen, as if I had clicked on 'Videos' from the home screen. I then have to navigate down to 'Files' and then to my video source, to accomplish what I had intended.

Interestingly, this problem only occurs on my Raspberry Pi B+, with Openelec 5.0.5. On my Windows machine (Kodi 14.2-BETA1 GIT:20150217-2259d0b), the exact same favorite setup works correctly: clicking on either of my custom shortcuts on the home screen on that machine work as expected, taking me directly into the favorited source.

EDIT: Actually, I'm having some other weird behavior now on the Pi that makes me think there might be a common problem unrelated to the skin. I'm going to try flipping it back to vanilla and see if I can still reproduce.

EDIT2: Okay, so it was a networking problem; the Pi was unable to access my NAS for some reason, but 'appeared' to, with a cached library. So it looked like the shortcuts were failing, but when I actually tried to play any of the content I could navigate to, it failed. After rebooting everything, operations went back to normal.

Hey ...
Is this happening to any one else when there is a catcha?

It's because in Gotham they moved away from separate labels for the progress dialog. In prior versions, Metropolis displayed everything on one line. For Gotham and up, I had to extend the dialog box and chose to make it an extension of the top bar. I didn't actually know there were addons that displayed images on the screen like that.

Addons should probably dismiss their progress dialog when they want user input, IMHO. On other skins, does the progress dialog just sit in front of the keyboard?
