A couple of months back, I started to notice flashing when playing back video in Kodi. The flashing looks like large portions of the image invert colors. This only happens a few times an hour but it is very distracting. I have done alot of the obvious things to try and eliminate the problem but have not had any luck.
- change video decoding parameters in Kodi; Hardware/Software and everything inbetween
- change/downgrade/update video drivers (Radeon 7700)
- changed graphics cards (Another Radeon card as I didn't have an Nvidia available)

Nothing seems to make a diffference. The last few daysI switched to using WMC to see if the problem was related to a hardware problem and never saw a single flash. Not conclusive but it seem to indicate that the problem is with Kodi.

How can I effectively troubleshoot this problem.

Take part in the 14.1 testing thread. It should be fixed.

I actually found that thread earlier and installed the 14.1 executable but I am still experiencing the issue. I will follow up in that thread.
