After upgrading to Helix I've now noticed the clarity of my recordings and live TV have taken a hit. The edges of most objects are no longer smooth and when motion occurs distortion is introduced. I tend to see black horizontal lines and rough edges. I've upgraded my ATI video driver to the latest, enabled vertical blank sync, even tried different resolutions to no avail. It seems to only happen with my MPEG WTV files. H.264 encoded movies playback fine. What am I overlooking?

If I disable hw acceleration it actually seems to get works. Becomes real jerky.
