Random crashes after stopping a video
#1
Hello all, I've had a recurring and very inconsistent crashing issue on one of my PC installations of Kodi. Since upgrading to Kodi, it appears to happen after I finish watching a video, but, full disclosure, before I updated to Kodi the entire system would crash/reboot at random times about 10 minutes into a video...but not every time. Today when it crashed three stacktrace (crashlogs?) showed up in the userdata folder. I pasted them into one pastebin here since they were so short:

http://pastebin.com/dBL0UQUH

As I said, it happens inconsistently so I need to constantly have debugging on to "catch" the crash. If I do I'll paste it here, but in the meantime is there any info anybody can shed pertaining to the crashlogs I posted above?

Thanks in advance

I finally got around to catching the crash. It has become pretty consistent at this point so it wasn't terribly difficult. I've included the debug log during one crash, as well as 3 stacktraces that showed up during that crash. I have also included a stacktrace, that looked slightly different, of another crash:

debug log:
http://pastebin.com/xVbZ8Dzp

stacktraces from previous crash:
http://pastebin.com/Au9BhtGT
http://pastebin.com/UVVLjdsd
http://pastebin.com/a5uG0DML

stacktrace from second crash:
http://pastebin.com/eq7Suqgd

Please please please, if anybody has any ideas on how to make this stop I would be greatly appreciative. I'd love to be able to trouble shoot this myself but I'd love the direction these logs/crash reports surely provide, if I was only adept enough to interpret them.

Thanks in advance

Sweet, thanks for pointing me in that direction. To start the troubleshooting I disabled the widgets and was able to get through a file and stop it with no crash.

Before I update the version, quick question: when using a MySQL db, its my understanding that all instances accessing the db need to be on the same version. Do they all have to be on the same EXACT version or is all them running some version of 14 adequate?

Anything 14.x will use same database version.
