Well i know you want good news also.
And so far i haven't had any crashes since my last post where i changed to the "KodiSetup-20150128-2be9c2a-w32_fix_crash_h" Version.

EDIT: It's not all gone, and here is a crash of the version mentioned above after i skipped back a little in the episode i was watching using Maraschino on a computer on LAN.

Well that went south fast.
Another crash using the new version.
Had it paused, and 1-2 seconds after i hit play using maraschino from a computer on LAN it crashed.

Minimize/Restore Kodi while playing video still crashes the application. Is there a 14.2 planned or is this not getting fixed until 15.0?

I think they focus on crash faults with a higher priority than features, I'd be surprised if they don't fix this, assuming the logs can be produced.

Can you share more info on when it crashed, maybe we find a way to reproduce it.
I'm asking because for it doesn't crash anymore since 20/01 and that's a record considering that i was plagued with several crashes per day. Thx!

Another crash just happened pretty much out of nowhere while playing a playlist of music videos. I was using build KodiSetup-20150129-dc54563-w32_fix_crash_h.exe on windows 7.

I uploaded a log, crashlog etc. to this ticket.

Anyway got another crash. Starting to sound like a broken record here, but it's made like last time.
Went some time without crashes, and saw a new reply to this post so i thought it was a new version and wanted to break this one, and i did.

To make it crash i started a TvShow episode It was streaming an episode this time though, then i opened Yatse app on my smartphone and navigated to the "Now Playing" screen (basically is the second screen when you swipe left from the app's main screen) and "dang" Kodi crashed.

Nothing. Kodi searches for new music after start. It crashes without doing anything but the update.

Another crash using KodiSetup-20150129-dc54563-w32_fix_crash_h.exe on windows 7. Again after some time flawless playback of music videos all of a sudden a crash.

I also had several crashes with the latest build. If i remember correctly Kodi crashed after an attempt to stream a video from internet.

@Karlson2k : Is it possible to provide a build with the commits/changes from the 22/01 but on 14.1 base?
I'm asking because for me that was the most stable build to date and Kodi was also running smoother than the current builds.
