Virtual zap
Description: During TV. When you hit "info" key you see channel name, current and next EPG. This info could be extended to browse through the EPG without really zapping to channel. When in virtual zap mode, right key should display the next EPG event. Left goes back in time. Up key should go to next channel but not really zap but show the current epg of that channel. By left/right you should again browse through EPG.
Dependencies: None.

Transparency in 1080XF Theme

Description: I think the settings panes would look a lot more modern with a bit of transparency like in the default theme. The bold grey background which is used now, doesn't fit the look in my opinion.

Yes, I found that, but that is not what i meant. Unfortunately I can't upload a screenshot right now. I mean the pane where the different categories are displayed on (General, Home Screen, Views, etc) and the Pane where the options are displayed on. In your screenshot it's Set Custom Overlay, Display Date & Time, etc.
In Xperience1080 it's nice and transparent, but in 1080XF the color of the pane is just plain grey without transparency and you can't change that at the moment. Only the overall background overlay which you meant. But that does not affect the Settings panes, just the overlay of the background behind the panes.

I hope you understandt what I mean, if not, just switch to 1080XF and you will get it I think.

I've added some of the features requested, rejected others, and am working on the rest. The current zip will provide the latest version.

Is that a request, comment, feedback or a reply to another persons post? Tongue

Since you obviously keep showing me screenshots of the Xperience1080 default theme you are not reading my post closely. I am talking about the 1080XF theme! There is another theme, that used to be default not too long ago. Here is a screenshot of what I mean.

I think those textures would benefit from a bit of transparency. I like the flat look of the 1080XF theme, but those grey textures don't seem to fit in, in my opinion.
If you, Piers, would consider adding a bit of transparency, like in the default theme, but not as strong and without the fade, that would be really great.

Hope everyone is on the same page now.

Cheers,

It's added but it appears I made a mistake with the previous development version.
