I have Kodi on a Windows 8.1 machine. I bought the Ortek MCE remote and it works really well for Kodi. Plus, with the mouse pad I can navigate to many of the non-Kodi features that I want--for example with a few mouse clicks I can use a desktop shortcut to get to the Daily Show on Hulu.
For some reason I thought that I could program the Ortek to control the amplifier and the TV. Obviously I was wrong about that--it's not a learning remote. But I have found out that I really like having that mouse pad feature.
I can't find a learning remote that has a mouse pad like the Ortek. Has anybody else seen one?
