Hi all!
Currently, the crossfade functionality works only for items in a playlist which undergo a natural transition. However, it would be very helpful if the crossfade functionality could be extended to other events such as selecting the next item in a playlist; that is independent of the current playing time of a song in a playlist, if the user wanted to skip to the next song, then crossfade would start at that point. If you are reading this and know of any plans to implement this in KODI in the future or know of a workaround in the form of an addon perhaps, I would appreciate your feedback. I think it would be super if the crossfade feature would be extended to selecting the next and even the previous item in the playlist.
