Android Volume not changed when playback by Bluetooth
#1
When I try change video's audio track volume when sound is playback to connected bluetooth device - volume in BT speakers didn't change.
There is possible to change BT volume from Kodi?
Or maybe on lower level: in Fire TV from Kodi screen?

I have this setup:
Amazon Fire TV w/Kodi 14.2
Avantree Saturn Pro A2DP Bluetooth Receiver > minijack > 2.0 Speakers

Kodi can't control volume on the Android TV. There is a volume amplification effect you could use as alternative but it will introduce distortion, and best avoided.

Use your TV remote instead.

Bluetooth audio is a little different for some reason. In fact, when I tested this on a Fire TV I was able to control the volume using my bluetooth headphones. Normally audio can't be controlled on the Fire TV box. However, this was using the volume controls on the bluetooth module itself and not using Kodi's volume control.

Unfortunately Avantree Saturn Pro (BTW one of the best A2DP transmiter/receiver with 4 codecs) haven't volume control buttons. Sad

But controlling BT volume isn't Android restriction, because when I pair Saturn Pro with my Phone then I can change volume from phone (BT source).
So it is possible even when receiver (BT sink) haven't volume buttons.

So maybe there is possibility to change AFTV's Android system volume from Kodi by some (python?) scripting?

EDIT:
I found thread on XDA which explains why changing volume on Fire TV is not possible:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/fire-tv/...t-t2802704

It seems that this apply to Bluetooth too - at least on Kodi app level.

I will try my A2DP headphones with volume control paired with AFTV and post results.
