Video
Hi to all! Nice to meet you!

Apologize if yet tald about but, I was not able to find an answer.

I have an Android box with Kodi inside. I made the procedure to configure my LAN and the NASwith my movie collection, mp4 and ISO.
The setup gone fine, I have all titles and covers of the whole collection.
As soon I play one video, the system say "impossible to play the video" ,actually the message is in my native language, but you know what is in English.
After this message, simply back to the movie list.

I guess is something about codec. Is it possible to add to an Android Device? Is it possible to add to Kodi'
Thank you!

I would install either SPMC v14.2.0 or Kodi Isengard. Both these use the uptdated SAMBA3 protocols which you NAS is probably using for file sharing.

THANK YOU!! It works!

I have another question about this machine:
I have an external decoder and woukld like use it with the "timeshift" function as is the live in the TV.

My Device accept the in from HDMI in in the back and pass out from a HDMI out.
If I select input HDMI in the sistem (a function in the android interface) I can see anything from HDMY, but have not foud any way to add the timeshift in XBMC.
Do you know if there is a solution?

Thank you again.

Kodi won't see the HDMI-in port. Right now it only communicates to the app that is on the box.
