Kodi box (stream or link to tablets?)
#1
Hello all,

Considering getting a Kodi box setup in my lounge, running on a celeron 2957u

However, my two daughters both have tablets and I was wondering if there was a way I could link them up to stream or access content from the Kodi box itself (acting as a server as such?)

I know I can do this with Plex, but can I do this with Kodi too? Don't mind a bit of faffing if I can get it working well.

Thanks

UPnP, mySQL, or also check out Emby server and Emby addon for Kodi. Emby is good at adding profiles and you can set up content access restrictions for your children.

Additionally it's an easy way to give remote access if the tablets go travelling with the kids too.
