Sad

To me this is a pretty critical bug for pvr, surprised it's not got more priority.

Things seem to be on hold for past few weeks with all this...guess they're gearing up for a proper 15.2 release but concentrating on other bugs over pvr peasents :p
...It's always been like that though.
The mind of a coder is a bit detached from the mind of a consumer, and vice versa.

A fix should be present in the upcoming 15.2 release ;-)

Yep, I merged a fix for Isengard last Friday. https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/pull/8022

I have installed 15.2, but it doesn't fix the problem. Plus, the problem is not only with active recordings, but with any recordings.

@dreamer538 are you sure you're using the latest nightly RC builds and the newest addon for Isengard? We changed some under-the-hood stuff regarding how recordings are played to fix a seeking issue and that should have brought the underlying implementation in line with how Kodi plays other types of streams (e.g. HTTP). If the problem still persists can you please post a fresh debug log (wiki)?

I will try to resurrect the topic. I haven't been using tv/pvr for a while, but now I'd like to start using it again and the problem still remains

I'm using kodi 16.0, tvheadend 4.0.5, tvheadend addon 2.2.13

When trying to watch any recording, looks like <5fps
Debug info (O button in fullscreen): http://prntscr.com/avsmvu
The bitrate on the screenshot is way lover the original one
Debug log: http://x.megastyle.com/dl.php?dl_id=2851...7b2f5b524b

Cpu on both kodi and tvheadend hosts are almost idle

Any ideas how this can be fixed?
