Nethost rewritten into Python?

is it possible for anyone to rewrite nethost into python.

i use nethost on my pc so i can look to it for music and movies from my psp. now i can control the xbox from the psp via wifi but what i think would be useful would be a python script from the pros in here.. lol you could even call it Python Script Pro << = PSP.. but any i just thought someone might deem this as being very useful.
