Been using XBMC since the modified xbox days--now that one is in my office hehe. It really looks sweet on a 1080p projector and 125" screen. It's so much better than anything else out there.

Here's my setup for anyone who would like to check it out.

Samsung 46" M87 full 1080p24 feed off a Denon AVC-A11XVA

xbmc running on my old xbox with the Microsoft HD component cable from the states (uk xbox).

Moving to xbmc on windows at the moment due to the ability to play HD content that is lacking on the xbox with it's limited resources.

Although xbmc can do everything and more on windows, I'm having trouble retireing the xbox... it's been a key part of my av centre since the early xbmp days Rolleyes

I just upgraded from an old Sharp Aquos LCD to a new Sony Bravia 26" and onkyo receiver. Looks and sounds a million times better now!

Still running xbmc on my xbox, that's going to stay as-is for a few months I think...

The options are not big enough!

I have a 158cm LG Monitor (Not a data projector) without a TV tuner, thus the main reason I need XBMC.

Picked it up faulty for free and paid $350AUD for a new part, and 4 hours of my time to repair it. It is a ex conference room monitor for commercial grade use running native 1080p, retailed for $18,000AUD.

XBMC works like a dream on it Smile, my friends all drool over the TV, and then drool over the XBMC interface, i love it! Smile

I use a 52" 1080p 120hz LCD with Windows Vista Ultimate x64 to run XBMC. It works well except I need to find a remote control solution that works for all apps. I currentlt use the Microsoft MCE remote control for MS Media Center and Power DVD, but that remote is not recognized in XBMC.No

I use Sony's KF42WE620 42" Grand WEGA® 3LCD Rear Projection Television for the gaming, youtube, music etc with component video from my xbox hd adapter. Optic audio goes to my Yamaha HTR-5760S. For movie watching the component signal is sent to my Dell MP2300 projector.

I use a Celabs AV400COMP amplified component video splitter to be able to send component to both without switching and supposedly no signal degradation.
