Media Extensions for Kodi (Filenaming Structure)

Naming_video_files/Movies (wiki)

If I plan on making a folder for each movie, as far as the "file name" for the movie itself inside each folder,
I know that you can specify certain "Media Source" information such as for Bluray Back to the Future (1985).bluray.mkv
but can I add a Media Source tag regarding whether the movie is 1080p or 720p such as Back to the Future (1985).1080p.mkv etc? Or would
that be a waste of time becase Kodi will not have any use/understanding of the HD level?

As far as 1080p/720p kodi will scan your file and get the resolutions so no need for that. I name my folders as such for movies: Movie Title (Year) (Bluray)/Movie title (Year).ext Obviously you can replace bluray with dvd or whichever you would like. Skins such as Aeon series will use the bluray/dvd tag to place a bluray/dvd overlay(case cover).
