I think this is an issue with your graphics card drivers. Have you tried updating those recently? I don't remember which GPUs were affected, but I recall reading other forum threads about it, and people solving the issue either with an update or downgrade of the graphics drivers.

Yep looks to be graphic card driver related, AMD normally has the most problems with this due to their shitty drivers, although Intel has had some problems as well in the past.

Definately a graphics driver issue.
I would update to the latest or an earlier version.
To test, you could try safemode if you are in windows or uninstall graphic driver completely (delete driver files), reboot and try again.
