how about requesting this on the Zappiti website? To me it doesn't look like the Zappiti MediaCenter is in any way related to Kodi. If their HW box runs Android, it could be a firmare issue on their side or too old Android version, or both.

please accept my apologies, I read the zappiti forum incorrectly, regarding kodi 24fps output. Zappiti are waiting for a firmware fix from Realtek.

please delete my post

Thanks

See existing thread http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=209566 and http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=204918

Zappiti and other Realtek RTD 1195 based players used a partially closed source fork of Kodi which actually violates its GPL license. No one other than Realtek have access to the closed source parts in that fork, unless the XBMC Foundation or the Kodi community and media player manufacturers can convice Realtek to comply with the GPL and release the source code.

This GPL compliance issue is similar to the Allwinner story http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=239162
