Doesn't do much. It lists a ton of Shoutcast radio stations, but not many Broadcast radio stations.

if you're talking about the new project akaigotchi is heading up, its not actually a script at this point. It's just a collection of .strm files, which should be opened in My Videos. If you don't know how to add bookmarks in the video section, simply hit the white button and a menu will pop up with the option to "Add Source" from there, browse to the folder with all the countries in, name it whatever you want and select ok. It should then work.

Hello to everybody,

Right now we need some urgent help Smile Actually two things have to be done real quick, so that we can improve our services:

1. We need help with a French translation of the project announcement (around 1000 characters). Snooping through the log files has proven, that French users do not have a clue the project exists. This is why I want to spread the word to the French community. I myself actually speak some French, but I haven't practiced in years, so the French community would laugh for ages if they read my stuff Big Grin So plz send me a PM if you can help.

2. We need help with writing a documentation. Right now I've set up MediaWiki on my website http://xbmc-streams.molaar.de/wiki/index...ine_Manual and I am starting to write a documentation for the project. As you can see most of the items are not created yet. What we need most urgent is a documentation of how the .strm files are downloaded from the SVN and how they are uploaded to the XBOX. If anyone can help here that would be absolutely FANTASTIC!!!! Plz send me a PM aswell if you can help here Smile

Hey everybody,

as the project matures there are a few new things I'd like to introduce to you:

1. First of all the "Webcams" section is now open. We've managed to find a larger number of streaming LIVE webcams and put them in the collection. Right now you'll find some US traffic cams from various regions and some LIVE cams from various zoos across the US (I loved the panda cam in the Smithsonian Zoo most, as you could even hear the panda snore while it sleeps ... LOL). Within the next few days new webcams will be added to this section, so stay tuned for changes.

2. We've added around 60 new channels to the collection in the last few days, more to come this week (I see if I can add another 60 by the end of this week Smile )

3. We are happy to have timdog and Chi3f as our "Art department" Wink As Chi3f did the first revision of the folder icons, timdog took some time and reworked them to make them more 3D. IMHO great work guys!!!! We will do some minor changes to the icon layout in the nearby future, so watch out for updates.

4. Chi3f is not only the guy who did the first revision of the icons, but he liked the idea of having a stream collection so much he coded a handy build.bat that strips all .svn folders from the collection and makes it a ready-to-upload-to-your-shiny-XBOX package. Thank you Chi3f for the great work!

5. We will be releasing a weekly snapshot of whats in the collection as a downloadable .zip on the project page on code.google.com. New snapshot releases can be found there every tuesday from now on. These snapshots are mainly intended for those of you, who are not very experienced with a SVN client and have trouble downloading the files from the SVN. Still I recommend the usage of a SVN client and to check back on a regular basis, as there will be relevant updates and changes all the time. I am still working on documentation (HowTo SVN, HowTo FTP to your XBOX,...) and I think I will be done with this by the end of the week, if everything runs well.

Okay, so here are the updates for now Smile

Have a nice time with the collection.

Ahem!

Is there any chance that the "Adult" section from Vanadiums original stream pack will be added soon?

Or is this pack going to be left "wholesome"?

I amy ask because I am a filthy pervert.

Anyone doing this for Broadcast Radio all around the world? I've got around 100 entries for the U.S. so far.
#25
I doubt anybody will be willing to expend the time and effort to make one for radio as well, since there is already teh Shoutcast stations integrated into XBMC, which provide 100's of stations, all categorized and everything.

Information
Hello everybody,

I am one of the founders of project XBMC-TV which is a large collection of .strm files (around 200 LIVE streaming TV channels and webcams now, more to come) that is designed and tested to work with XBMC. Actually the project is intended to be the one-stop-solution for .strm files on XBMC and should render downloading various streampacks from various sites obsolete. Right now it seems as if the small project founded three weeks ago is growing faster than I or anybody else thought. So this is the reason why we, the project team, believe we should be having a project logo that could be used on the website and aswell as a folder icon/script icon.

If you have an idea for a logo, if you do have the skills and wouldn't mind spending some precious spare time for doing one we would be very happy Smile So, if you intend to create a logo, plz let us know!

We are looking forward to work with you Smile

Thanks so much for your help in advance
