Net USB

Since there are a lot of Mp3 players that support Linux and there is USB Net support on Linux, it could be possible to add USB Net support on XBMC? With that, it could be possible pass the 4GB limit since you don't access to a USB Mass Storage instead a network machine... It don't need to be "real" USB Net support, maybe a fake USB Net support sending necesary data to the USB it could work...

I'm not sure what you are talking about. Are you confusing a USB storage device with a USB network adapter?

I havent heard of anything that is both. If the device appears as a networked machine than it should already be accessible
