Hi all,

I have a script request, though it definitley will not appeal to all Smile

dgcad.com have a series of free video tutorials for Autocad, ADT and Revit (Drafting packages for those who do not know) and it would be really great if I could view these on my TV as I tackle the programs on my PC.

Anyone care to take up the challenge? The various packages are listed along the left hand side, each one is a link that brings you thru to another page that has links to WMV files of the video tutorials.

Anyway, I figure this is the place to ask.

Thanks,

MJ

open notepad, follow the link to get to the files right click copy shortcut paste in notepad save as a .strm file open with xbmc
the file would look something like this

http://www.cadclips.com/downloads/REVIT-...ERVIEW.wmv

that will work unless they are drm'd if they are it can't be done.
at least not legally

you can even make a playlist so you don't have to have a seperate file for each clip.
Here's the HOW-TO.

Thanks guys, I had not thought about the stream route or even the playlist route.

As it happens, the files are not DRM'd.

Thanks,

Absolutley brilliant. I opened Winamp, dragged the links from Firefox into the library window of Winamp and saved as a pls file. It works superbly.

Many thanks again.

.
I see people are making good use of my free CADclip video tutorials.

If there's anything I can do to help drop me a line.
