External as in outside of your local network? I'm not sure if that would even work. You'd need a very fast internet connection to support those raw streams, and I'm not sure if the HDHomeRun can really forward outside of the network whatever it needs to communicate.
You can make easy links to the XBMC wiki using double brackets around words: [[debug log]] = debug log, [[Add-on:YouTube]] = Add-on:YouTube, [[Adding videos to the library]] = Adding videos to the library, [[userdata]] = userdata, etc |

I can tell you it does, because the previous example using the native client worked fine. I think it has something to do with the URL you declare. Not sure if the current version of XBMC can handle it. Where is the code for the plugin maybe I can play around there....
