while the option to set a folder.jpg file as the thumbnail for a folder is very nice, it does have some shortcomings. first of all thumnails on their own can look kind of disjointed, it would be nice if it could be an option to display the folder icon with the thumbnail ontop of it, like windowsxp does :
i just think it looks more coherant.
also it would be awesome if different layers of heirachy could be allowed different view styles, like i'd want my upper level video folder to show large icons with thumbnails for all the different tv shows there, but inside the tv shows individual folders i'd prefer a list to large icons, however as it stands this is impossible, as one view style will affect all folders regardless.
