Dragonboard 410c Specs
  • 1.2GHz Quad-core Snapdragon 410 (64-bit Cortex A53)
  • 1GB LPDDR3 533MHz RAM
  • Built in 802.11n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS
  • No Ethernet but USB to Ethernet works out of box (plug and play). I use this TRENDNET adapter.
  • Supports Android 5.1, Ubuntu, Debian, Windows 10 IoT
  • 8GB eMMC onboard - Dip switch on back so you can choose to boot from eMMC or microSD (hardware dual-boot)
  • 2 USB ports - Any cheap USB hub works fine. I use this Sabrent 4-port.
  • Adreno 306 GPU
  • 1080p@30fps HD video playback and capture with H.264 (AVC), and 720p playback with H.265 (HEVC)
  • Contrary to popular belief, the bootloader does not restrict anything you would normally want to do, once your OS boots, you do have root permissions. No issues replacing images.

Other
  • RAM/CPU/GPU all faster than Pi2
  • Comes with Android 5.1 pre-installed (no Play store but easy to install through normal methods)
  • Kodi installs just fine off of the Play store and runs perfectly. I use cachmembuffer size specified on Kodi wiki (the 1GB RAM example)
  • 1080p via Android Youtube app also works as it should

Note: This post is about the Linaro 96boards spec consumer edition 410c. This is not the only Dragonboard out there. See this link for Inforce based Dragonboards where you can find another APQ8016 based Dragonboard with built in Ethernet and an Inforce 6410plus which also has built-in ethernet but is based off of the Snapdragon 600 SoC which is the same as what you find in FireTV but with unrestricted Android 5.1 and also capable of Debian and Ubuntu. You can also find the Inforce 6540 Dragonboard which is based on Snapdragon 805 and has Quad-core 2.7 GHz Krait 450 CPU, Adreno 420 GPU, and 4K capable - same SoC on Nexus 6 (on the same level as the Mediatek SoC w/ PowerVR GX6250 in the 2015 FireTV)

RAM/CPU/GPU all faster than Pi2 and can run Kodi.

Video output is only stated as 1080p @30fps

But seeing as I deal with arrow a bit at work I may see if I can get a sample!

No Ethernet port, no headphone jack, not enough USB ports.

EDIT:
- USB to Ethernet adapter works out of box (plug and play)
- Audio is fine over HDMI
- Any cheap USB hub works fine
