Disable the app (not delete) and it'll not show up. Hiding a single anything, either use the 'extras' add-on or just place it in a folder outside of the library sources. It's also possible to have a source, with exclude from scraper, but the files will still be available in file mode.

I guess the question comes down to who or what you're trying to hide.

Stick a .nomedia (or .nomedia. if using windows) file in the folder you don't want to show up.
