When autoplaying multi-episode files, the same file is played repeatedly for as many episodes as it contains. Not ideal.
I found a discussion on this issue that started trying to work out how to play the individual episodes within the file - which seemed to get too difficult and stalled.
While people think about that, an interim improvement would be to just play the file once when on autoplay. Then someone watching the season will just flow naturally from one to the next and they won't be aware of the file structure.
I realise this isn't as simple as it sounds as the autoplay must be working off the episode list without reference to the file list. It would have to do something like check to see if the next episode has the same file and skip ahead in the episode list until it doesn't.
But must be an order of magniture less difficult than working out what parts of a file belong to what episodes.
