Yep looks like they fixed the USB port problems.

Shame it still needs a dedicated power supply though Sad

No hevc 10 bit support. It seems Braswell based ... so you can throw it for future content. There are enough toys in arm world that are all not future proof as well but cheaper.
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.

This article does mention the more expensive core m versions are skylake based

Ok I have seen the low end model as 2 different cpus one listed it as the Atom X5-Z8400 and that article is listing it as the X5-Z8300

doesn't really matter since both are limited to 8-bit HEVC decoding, and the skylake version isn't likely to have the grunt to do it in s/w
