Solved App Not Installed

I am running Kodi 16.0-BETA3 Git Unknown, dated Dec. 10, 2015 on a MXQ box connected to my TV via HDMI cable. I downloaded Kodi 16-0 Jarvis_rc1-ameab-v7a.apk. When I try to install this package I get the message: "An existing package by the same name with a conflicting signature is already installed." Can someone tell me the best way to overcome this problem, short of uninstalling the previous version? I would not like to lose the information already stored for the existing package.

No solution besides uninstalling the non-official version.
If those suckers wouldn't be so lazy as to not even changing the package name, you wouldn't have such issue.

I removed the Beta3 version and installed 16-0 Jarvis RC1. Thanks for the advice.
