I`m a newby and just loaded Kodi for the 1st time on Windows 8:1 64bit. (which is also new to me)
There was no opportunity to save the programme before running it, and there is no desktop ikon to launch it either.
Whenever I want to launch Kodi, I have to go to `Downloads` and re-run it !
Surely this can`t be normal ?
Anyone got any ideas please ?

The default install path is c:\program files(x86)\kodi\Kodi.exe

Or press window key and type in Kodi. Right click the icon and "pin to taskbar".
