I just installed the new 9.11 alpha. There still is no visual confirmation of a subtitle and/or audio change when done from a remote or keyboard. Obviously you can see what you're doing when you use the menu ;-)

Does anyone know whether there are any plans to implement something in a near future build? Both of these functions are mapped to softbuttons on a Harmony One touch screen so they don't always work on first try. It would be awesome to get some little message pop up in a screen corner.

It's not a high priority, nope.

We'd welcome a patch to do it though! There's a couple of ways to do it, but essentially you have to modify GUIWindowFullScreen.cpp to tell the infomanager to pop up.
