New here! Not sure if I post my question here so. If not I'm sorry.

My father running a Samsung tab S. With lollipop os. No network. Screen mirror with chromecast.(Gen 2)

We start playing a movie and the screen freezes after 1 min. And the tablet freezes. (Kodi 16.1)

Now I have the same tablet (Samsung Tab S) on Verizon network. And it works great running kit Kat os, both Kodi 16.0 and 16.1.

I also have a Samsung note 4 on lollipop which works fine as well. 16.0 Kodi tested not 16.1

Anyone know the reason why he is having this problem?

This does not sound like a Kodi problem if you have no network on the Tab S.
Not sure if you are in your home or your Dad's, So does your Tab work at his home and his tab at your's??
That can help to narrow things down.

Yes, tab not a GSM tablet is what I meant. No sim card, wasn't sure if that could make a difference. Screen mirror works with youtube but not kodi.
