k, loginto your gmail account on your PC.

Click Settings

Click forwarding and pop

Click "Enalbe POP only for email that arrives from now on"

Click save changes

Run XinBox

Create a new account, and then add a inbox.

Enter a inbox Display Name

And then in email address put in your gmail email eg "[email protected]"

The script will auto setup most of the settings for you

You will just need to chuck in your password.

Click test Inbox, and check its all working, click ok and save your account,

You are now ready to go!

Using 0.99 but I am still getting a crash with "building inbox" when starting up.

I just stumbled upon this script...wow! It worked perfectly for me. I downloaded it from the XBMC scripts menu, Ran it, updated it from within itself and viola the new version was installed and ready. I setup my Gmail account without any issues and read my mail. I have never had a script work so perfectly and setup so easily. Well done.

Hmm, maybe you have a funny email in there or something?

Try deleting your xbmc/userdata/script_data/XinBox folder and start fresh.
Then update to the latest build via the script (click update)

Hallo,

i'm trying to run this script, but nothing happens :-(
In python debug info,

"No Module named Xinbox_MainMenu"

My XBOX V 1.0
XMBC Version 2.1 T3CH 15.8.2007
Xinbox V 0.9

A very old Version of xinbox (0.3) works fine.

Have s.o. an idea how to solute this problem ?
