Color Saturation and a few more wishes
#1
Hi

I'm new here and use Kodi17 with latest Openelec on a Pi2.

Work good so far, however...

- on my Acer projector i cannot change color saturation, only color balance.
The default colors are not so vivid. Would be good for change color saturation in Kodi.
What you think, is it hard? I watch my own Avchd and 3D iso files. It's not a hdmi full or limited range issue.
The contrast is good, only the colors are washed out Sad

Other minor things:

- can i change the OSD hide timeout? When i move the mouse while playing a film,
osd appears but disappear only after 10 sec. 3-4 sec would be better. Or what about
only show osd when the mouse goes to the bottom? (like in mediaplayer classic on PC)

- i like to use the mouse wheel for change volume, instead of seeking, like now. Possible?

- are there any plugins for Kodi, which show the FPS or CPU usage while playing the film?

thanks a lot!

The good news:

There is work going on related to this topic: http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=202691

The bad news:

Manipulation of colours very much depends on the platform and how they implement video rendering. Raspberry Pi hw acceleration bypasses GLES rendering. Means it has to implement its own proprietary methods for video manipulation.

The other issues are not feature requests, but questions that can be answered with google and the wiki
