Hi Guys,

I have a Fire TV stick with Kodi 16.1 installed.

Whenever I switch the power back on to the Fire TV stick to watch something on Kodi I always get presented with the default GUI settings (language, weather, etc..)

Is there an automated way to stop this happening? I want to give this Fie TV stick to my parents and I don't want them to fiddle around with the settings everytime.

This is an issue which doesn't happen on my other Fire TV stick with Kodi 15 installed.

If you are in Kodi and you cut the power to the device then Kodi will get messed up. You have to either quit Kodi first using the shutdown menu, or just leave the device powered (which is what most people do).

Try.cleanly exiting Kodi after changing settings, so that they are surely saved.

If after relaunching the settings are gone, that's another issue.
