Cant play any files from library from mysql database

Admittedly on a hackintosh, but that shouldn't stop kodi from working, wifi and ethernet are working fine, and I can access the server from finder no problem. Advancedsettings.xml is in the proper place, and i can see the shared library. When I go to play back any file it says the file no longer exists. Every windows computer can connect no problem, as well as my fire stick. What could be preventing my OS X install? BTW currently at 10.10.3

I figured it out. Somehow password protected sharing got turned on.
