just uploaded v0.5 of my xbmc http client to sourceforge (i.e. the demo client of my provides xbmc with an api over http patch.)

this sounds cool, and seems like it would make remote management of xbmc easier. what is the status of the code? did it get incorporated into the 1.0 freeze?

no, it will not be incorporated into xbmc 1.0, we will keep it for the next version (2.0)
Always read the XBMC online-manual, FAQ and search the forum before posting.

it appears that you can only play files from the local hard drive with your program. i tried adding an xbms share and it didn't scan correctly. i guess this would be a bug report. great work otherwise though.
