Lightbulb  Fluid - a skin concept... Post: #1
At the request of a few, I am creating this thread so that my skin can someday see the light of day.

Fluid is not an official name for this skin, although it very well can be. I was recently inspired to continue developing this skin by djh’s, Xephyr skin. Coincidently, djh and I were both impressed by Smokeheads work on Clearity.

This is not a skin “yet”, simply my vision of what would make a good skin. I started to work on these, soon after Clearity was released, but many factor kept me from finishing it. My box died, my workload increased and the biggest factor of all, my coding skills are far too primitive.

My box is now up and running and I am back in love with XBMC. So here is what I expect to accomplish.
  • Will likely only be developed for widescreen displays (16:9) or at least initially.
  • It should feature a unique and simple navigation scheme
  • It will require your media cover art to be of fair resolution

Thanks once again to djh and all who participate in this thread.

Really cool. I like the colors and style.

I would be careful though about mixing dark-on-light text with light-on-dark text. That tends to create eyestrain.
