i'm not really sure what is and isn't possible with Python, but is it possible to control the xbox communicator headset?
specifically, would it be possible to create a script that would turn the mic on at any point, not just when a .mp3 + .cdg is present?
this could be used for video narration, karaoke, VJing, etc.
it would also be nice to be able to run xbmclyrics at the same time.
also, would it be possible to make it so that if you play a song or video you could have the option of listening to the sound on your headset instead of/in addition to your TV?
i'm asking this in the Python Forum because people have been asking for better headset support for awhile now & it doesnt look any closer, so maybe a script is possible, but I dont know the limitations of Python.
if anybody knows an alternate way to enable the mic at any time, let me know. thanks.
