v16 Having Trouble with Live Mix
#1
I have recently been having trouble getting programing on Mettlekettle's Live Mix addon. When I click on the program(s) I want to watch I'm taken to another screen, but there is nothing to click/check, so I end up at a dead end. What's up with this?Confused

Please seek support for piracy add-ons where you acquired them. Also see the forum rules (wiki)

IMPORTANT:
The official Kodi version does not contain any content what so ever. This means that you should provide your own content from a local or remote storage location, DVD, Blu-Ray or any other media carrier that you own. Additionally Kodi allows you to install third-party plugins that may provide access to content that is freely available on the official content provider website. The watching or listening of illegal or pirated content which would otherwise need to be paid for is not endorsed or approved by Team Kodi.

Hmmm. What an interesting conundrum - I can download a repository (i.e. Mettlekettle) from Kodi, but when I have a problem with the repository/ add-ons therein, I'm told that Kodi does not support "piracy" add-ons and tells me to seek support where I acquired them (Kodi). If these repositories/add-ons offer "pirated' programming, why are they even availabIe on Kodi? I am a novice and am only seeking some technical support, but it would seem that I don't have good enough "credentials" (coder, respository author, etc.) to get into the club.

You didn't download or otherwise obtain the repository from us (the official Kodi site), you downloaded it from a 3rd party (para)site offering unofficial add-ons, or perhaps what you bought was a "fully loaded" device which come pre-installed with all sorts of 3rd party junk. Kodi is just a media player - the official build does not come with any media sources pre-installed at all. We also do not provide or sell hardware or players (aside from a Pi case).

If they are available within Kodi without installing anything previously (such as the "fully loaded" example), then you do not have the proper official Kodi build, but some 3rd party modified build, most of which are solely designed to facilitate piracy (and for which we also offer no support and which we dislike intensely).

I would suggest you have a read of this blog as it may offer some further enlightenment about the situation you've found yourself in.
