i dont think its possible to open the context window to select movie information on avis on dvd media. the drive obviosly cant be chosen to set content as movies.

would it be possible to just allow the movie information tab on files on the dvd?

I too have a 'shed load' of movies that I've got stored on DVDs as AVIs, anyway to scrape info and save it locally on the HD in a folder Or is that just totally impossible?

afaik you can already set content on dvd media... you just need to create the dvd bookmark.
