Hello, Are there keyboard shortcuts that I can press to get to the music or pictures sections?

Specifically, I want to get to the Albums section with one key press that will work from anywhere within xbmc. Also, I want to get to the Pictures section with a different key press.

Please let me know if this is possible.

Specifically, I would like to know if I need to edit a keymap xml file, which one, and what I need to add to have a single button on a Harmony remote just take me to Album view from wherever I happen to be. Something like XBMC.ActivateWindow(MyMusic, Albums) or something similar. Is it that easy?

Ok, I figured out that I can do this with a program called keymapedit2.exe, however it does not work for the pictures.

It works for music and goes directly to albums. I input ActivateWindow(Music,Albums)
But for Pictures, I can do ActivateWindow(Pictures) but it only goes to the last folder in pictures that we looked at. It will not go to my default source folder. Any tips or ideas?

Ok, I figured it out. I just do activatewindow(Pictures,"c:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Desktop\Pictures")

So, dumb question about keymapedit2... Do you install this on the box running XBMC or onto a PC and hit it over the network? I'm running XBMCLive

Assuming you got KeyMapEdit from http://xbmcmce.sourceforge.net/, it's just a convenient way to edit key mapping files. You can edit them in any text editor if you prefer. See http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Mod...yboard.xml for details. KeyMapEdit is a Windows app so it won't run on XBMCLive.
